2012.1.30, according to sina’s report, on the kickoff of Chinese dragon new year, sina weibo got 32312 messages per second on 2012.1.23, which is 7000 higher than twitter’s recent record on 2011.12.13, when the famous ‘Castle in the sky’ is on TV again in Japan.
Sina’s CEO said that sina weibo now has more than 250 million users, while more than 100 million users use it daily.
anyway, as the largest internet market in the world, now china internet is growing bigger and bigger. as a result, the chinese internet companies now have to deal with higher volume than usa companies.
will the chinese internet companies exceed usa companies from tech perspective? let’s wait and see.
